These systems are composed of smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. When smoke or carbon monoxide is detected, the alarm will automatically sound and alert the occupants. It’s also usually paired with sprinklers that are activated together with the alarm.
* Water Alarm Systems – these monitor leaks and water accumulation. You can have a passive water alarm system or an active water alarm system installed. Passive systems are mounted on the floor. When they detect moisture, an alarm will be sent to the control panel. On the other hand, active systems detect leaks and automatically shut down the water supply so no further damage will be sustained.
